Britney shared a post stating that rumors about her comeback to the music career are false, and that she will never return to this industry again. “Just to be clear, most of the news is garbage. They constantly write that I’m reaching out to people to make a new album. I will never return to the music industry! When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people,” Britney conveyed.

It’s interesting that she previously announced having more than 20 songs written for other musicians, which she worked on over the past two years. The 42-year-old star, who released her ninth and latest album, “Glory,” in 2016, deactivated her Instagram profile shortly after.

In the meantime, she recorded singles such as “Hold Me Closer” from 2022 with Elton John and “Mind Your Business” from 2023 with Will.i.am.
